UV DTF means ultraviolet direct to film. Your design arrives printed with UV-cured ink on a carrier film. Peel the backing, place it, rub it down and lift away the clear carrier. The design stays on your item.

Choose a smooth, hard blank. Clean it in a way that’s safe for its finish, let it dry fully and test compatibility first.
Rub through the carrier film, then slowly peel the backing away. Keep the design on the clear carrier. Plan your placement before it touches your blank.
Press the transfer onto your surface and rub down the full design, including the edges and smaller pieces.
Slowly peel away the clear carrier. If a detail lifts, stop and rub it down again. Follow the application and care instructions supplied with your order.

A good match starts with your blank. Its finish and shape matter as much as its material.
Compatible glass, metal, acrylic and certain plastics can be a good starting point. Texture, coatings and flexibility affect adhesion. Avoid assuming silicone, soft-touch finishes or rough surfaces will work.
A 16 oz cup wrap is not a universal fit. Compare your cup’s usable height and circumference with the artwork dimensions, allowing for taper and curves.
We recommend gentle handwashing for decorated drinkware. Avoid soaking, abrasive scrubbing and picking at the design. Follow the instructions for both your transfer and your blank.

UV DTF stickers are physical, adhesive-backed designs printed with UV-cured ink and transferred to compatible hard surfaces. UV DTF stands for ultraviolet direct to film. You peel the backing, apply the design, rub it down and remove the clear carrier film. The design stays on your item; no heat press is needed.
No. S2 Transfers supplies printed UV DTF stickers ready to apply. You do not need a printer, vinyl cutter or heat press to use them. Apply them by hand to a clean, dry, compatible surface and follow the instructions supplied with your order.
UV DTF stickers are intended for smooth, hard surfaces, such as compatible glass, metal, acrylic and certain plastics. Coatings, texture and surface flexibility can affect adhesion. Test an inconspicuous area first. Rough, soft, silicone or heavily textured surfaces are not a dependable fit.
No. UV DTF stickers are for compatible hard surfaces. For shirts, totes and other garments, choose apparel DTF transfers designed to bond to fabric with heat and pressure. UV DTF stickers and heat-applied apparel DTF transfers are different products.
Clean and fully dry your compatible surface. Rub the design through the carrier film, then slowly peel away the backing so the design stays on the clear carrier. Position it carefully, press and rub down every part of the design, then slowly peel away the carrier. If a detail lifts, stop and rub it down again. Follow any product-specific instructions supplied with your order.
Treat a UV DTF sticker as a lasting decoration, not a repositionable label. Plan its placement before the adhesive touches the surface. Removal may damage the design or affect the finish underneath, so do not assume it can be moved or removed without residue.
Water resistance depends on the transfer, surface and application. Do not treat water resistance as a dishwasher-safe guarantee. For decorated drinkware, our care recommendation is gentle handwashing; avoid soaking, abrasive scrubbing and picking at the design. Follow the care instructions supplied with your order and your blank.
Not necessarily. Cups with the same capacity can have different shapes and dimensions. Measure the usable height and circumference of your cup and compare them with the product’s artwork dimensions. Allow for taper, curves and any gap you want between the ends of the design.
