Ready to make some magic? Let’s turn that design into wearable art!
Step 1: Pre-Press Warm-up Give your garment a 5-second pre-heat. This pre-heat removes those pesky wrinkles and chases away sneaky moisture.
Step 2: First Press
- Temperature: 300-310 degrees.
- Duration: 10-15 seconds (not too long, not too short—like a good nap!).
- Pressure: Medium. Remember: Every heat press has its own personality. A little trial and error might be needed to find that sweet spot.
- Placement: Click here to download our Placement Guide.
Step 3: Peel Our transfers are hot peel transfers. Peel within 10 seconds after the transfers comes out from the press
Step 4: Second Press
- Cover Choice: For a shine look, use Teflon. For a matte look, go with parchment paper.
- Temperature: Still rocking 300-310 degrees.
- Duration: A brief 5-10 seconds.
- Pressure: Medium.
Pro Tip: Ensure even pressure for the best stickiness, and keep any garment features like pockets, seams, and zippers out of the pressing area.
Special Fabric Instructions:
- Polyester/Blends: They’re heat magnets! Lower the temp to 300-310 degrees and reduce the time to 3-8 seconds. If your design’s playing hard to get, you can give it another press.
- 100% Polyester: This one’s a bit finicky. Go cooler at 250-285 degrees and quicker at 3-8 seconds. It’s like baking a new recipe—might take a few tries to perfect! If it’s not sticking, press again after a cooldown.
There you have it! Now, go turn that transfer into a money!
